Jazz on the Sound
on the Island Beach Ferry
(near Roger Sherman Baldwin Park)
Sunday July 21st at 3:45PM
Bring your towels, chairs, swimsuits and sunscreen and meet us at the ferry at 3:45pm. Look for the Greenwich Newcomers Club stickers to find us.
We will take the 4pm ferry to Island Beach. A Dixieland Jazz band will play on the ferry and at Island Beach Park. The ferries run every half hour so you may return with us at 6pm or anytime that's convenient.
If you've never been to Island Beach, it's a great outing for the whole family. Island Beach has swimming, a playground, picnic tables, bathroom facilities and a concession stand.
Note: You must bring your beach pass and buy a ticket for the ferry ($6). If you do not have a Greenwich beach pass, please email judy.rayner@gmail.com to make arrangements.
